Overview
HAZET-WERK Hermann Zerver GmbH & Co. KG is a German family-owned company in its fifth generation that has been developing and manufacturing tools in Remscheid since 1868. The portfolio comprises over 6000 products: open-end and socket wrenches, highly precise torque wrenches in the range from 0.02 to 2000 Nm, fine-tooth ratchets, pneumatic, electric and cordless tools, Assistent series workshop trolleys as well as custom special tools developed jointly with German automotive manufacturers and Porsche Motorsport. Production is carried out with a high in-house share of over 75% in four German plants: In Plant 1 (Remscheid), the company combines classical forging craftsmanship with CNC manufacturing and collaborative robots; in Plant 2 (Heinsberg), rotationally symmetric parts such as socket inserts are produced on fully automated systems; Plant 3 covers sheet metal working and powder coating; Plant 4 consolidates manufacturing, assembly and calibration of torque technology. Materials are predominantly steel from Germany as well as stainless steel and plastic. Customers come from the automotive, commercial vehicle, aviation maintenance, marine, two-wheeler, industrial, trade and motorsport sectors. Distribution is via specialist dealers in over 100 countries.

Materials and Processes
Steel from Germany
Main material for forged tools such as wrenches, ratchets and torque wrenches, preferred with short supply routes.
Stainless steel
Used for work surfaces and components of workshop trolleys as well as corrosion-exposed parts.
Plastic (solvent-resistant)
Work surfaces and components of workshop trolleys, partly in ESD versions.
Wood multiplex (birch, beech)
Replaceable work surfaces of workbenches and workshop trolleys.
Li-ion battery cells
Cell technology for the 18-volt cordless tool range with EMS management.

Quality and Certificates
HAZET manufactures to the highest technical and safety standards, often exceeding the required DIN/ISO standards. Torque wrenches comply with DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017, come with their own calibration certificate with serial number and are calibrated in the company's own DAkkS calibration laboratory for torque and rotation angle.
