About Hessentaler Container
HC Hessentaler Container GmbH (HCG) is a plastics processor based in Schwäbisch Hall-Hessental specializing in extrusion blow molding. The company manufactures plastic hollow bodies of all kinds: packaging from 50-ml canisters up to 1800-liter containers, hazardous goods IBCs with filling volumes of 270 to 1000 liters, and demanding technical blow-molded parts such as fuel tanks. Production is carried out in food-grade plastics in 3-shift operation with approximately 35 employees; robotics has supported production since 2006. In addition to manufacturing, the service portfolio includes consulting including CAD-supported prototype development, material selection, training on hazardous goods packaging, and the legally required 2.5-year and 5-year inspections of hazardous goods IBCs. Founded in 2000 through a management buy-out, the site looks back on nearly 70 years of plastics manufacturing in Hessental. Quality and energy management are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018.
