About HD-Technic

HD-Technic GmbH is an engineering and expert inspection office headquartered in Ibbenbüren that has specialised in services in the energy sector since 1992. The focus is on technical support of wind energy projects across the entire life cycle: recurring expert inspections, condition-oriented inspections, post-commissioning inspections, final acceptances as well as continued-operation and structural integrity reports. In addition, the company prepares damage reports and damage assessments, including court-appointed expert opinions, and evaluates onshore and offshore wind turbine prototypes with regard to their insurability, including design and purchase contract reviews. The portfolio is complemented by project and quality management, construction and manufacturing supervision, due diligence processes as well as project management for thermal power plants up to decommissioning. Customers include operators, project developers, manufacturers, banks, insurers, insolvency administrators and fund companies. Founder Hugo Dierkes was in 1997 the first publicly appointed and sworn expert for wind turbines in Germany; the company has assessed more than 4,000 wind turbines.
