About HDG Bavaria

HDG Kessel- und Apparatebau GmbH, based in Massing (Bavaria), develops and produces log wood boilers (wood gasification boilers), wood chip boilers, pellet boilers and combination boilers as well as associated system components such as buffer tanks, domestic hot water tanks, fresh water stations, solar collectors and heating boxes; the portfolio is complemented by fine dust separators and an air-to-water heat pump. Production takes place at the headquarters in Massing using quality steel sheet, stainless steel and stainless steel castings; refractory concrete as well as cast iron and high-temperature-resistant special alloys are used for combustion chamber linings. The company was founded in 1922 as a metalworking shop and continued in 1978 as HDG Kessel- und Apparatebau GmbH, after heating boilers had been produced under the ACKMATHERM brand from 1970 onwards. Customers include private households, agriculture and forestry, commercial businesses, municipalities and wood processing companies; sales are handled through a network of specialized trade installers in Germany, Austria, France and internationally.
