HDS-Messtechnik (previously known as Schmetz-Messtechnik), based in Menden, is a service and trading company for ultrasonic measurement technology in preventive maintenance. The portfolio includes ultrasonic multifunction detectors (including SDT 340 and SDT 270), the HDSonic100-B ultrasonic wall thickness gauge for non-destructive, non-invasive material testing, and clamp-on flow meters for compressed air, gases, liquids and heat/energy quantities. In addition, an acoustic camera (SDT CRYSOUND) is offered for visualising compressed air leaks, gas leaks and partial discharges with PRPD mapping; it is ATEX-certified.
