About HeatPump23
HeatPump23 GmbH, based in Heilbronn, develops and distributes a floor-standing heat pump for apartments and houses without a heating cellar. The system consists of a monoblock outdoor unit (air-to-water heat pump without refrigerant lines, operated with 230 V household electricity) as well as a compact indoor unit with an integrated 86-litre domestic hot water tank and WLAN connectivity. The outdoor unit is available with aluminium claddings in various RAL colours for facade integration. The product is designed as a 1:1 replacement for gas floor-standing heaters in existing buildings up to approx. 120 m² and is installed by regional partner heating installation companies; according to the manufacturer, installation is possible in about two days. In addition, the company offers a smartphone app for heating control and consumption data as well as a remote maintenance portal for installers. The company was funded, among others, by the Stuttgart Climate Innovation Fund.
