About Heckert Solar
Heckert Solar GmbH is a manufacturer and supplier of photovoltaic components and systems based in Chemnitz since 2001. The company produces its own solar modules of the NeMo® and Apollon 2.0 series in Germany – initially in Chemnitz from 2003, and since 2021 additionally in a highly automated 24,000 sqm production facility in Langenwetzendorf (Thuringia). Production includes glass-glass modules with back-contact and patented shingle-matrix technology as well as half-cell and cross-string designs; materials used are monocrystalline N-type silicon, tempered glass in a 2x2-mm glass-glass construction and black anodized aluminum frames. Capacity totals 800 MWp per year (400 MWp at each site). In addition to module manufacturing, Heckert Solar sells inverters, PV storage systems (including its own Symphon-E home storage), mounting systems and e-mobility solutions, and offers planning, technical system design and delivery ready for installation. Customers come from residential construction, commercial and industrial sectors, agriculture, solar parks and critical infrastructure; reference projects range from the Allianz Arena in Munich to a plant in Guyana.

Materials & Processes
Silicon (monocrystalline, N-type)
Cell technology of the back-contact modules of the Zeus series with high efficiency up to 24.5%.
Silicon (polycrystalline)
Cell material of earlier NeMo® module generations.
Tempered AR glass (2 x 2 mm)
Double-glass construction for robustness, bifacial yield gain and long service life.
Aluminum (black anodized)
Module frames (30 or 35 mm) for mechanical stability.
Shingle matrix technology
Patented interconnection method with 396 shingle cells for better partial shading behavior on the Apollon 2.0.
Back-contact technology
Rear-side contact without visible busbars for maximum active cell area.
