Heco Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH in Lohmar manufactures extrusion blow molds for products from 1 to 1000 liters in volume. The portfolio includes canister molds, drum molds with boring mandrels and intensive cooling, tank molds, spoiler molds, and 3D molds for multi-layer fuel filler pipes with necked flanges. Parison heads are manufactured with rheological optimization including profiling for optimal wall thickness distribution and are given a special surface coating. In addition, the company supplies fixtures for extrusion blow molding machines such as insert, hose-closing, spreader, and deflashing fixtures. Complementary services include overhauls of extrusion tools of all sizes, process engineering support for production optimization, and product development from idea to blowable product. Molds are made in aluminum and steel for technical blow-molded parts; tank models are made in rigid foam.
