Hegauer Süßmostkelterei Wilhelm AUER GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned fruit juice producer based in Mühlhausen-Ehingen in the Hegau-Lake Constance region, in family ownership since 1875. Its products are based on fully ripe, hand-picked apples and pears from the orchard meadows and fruit gardens of the region, which the company processes in its own juice press house and also accepts from growers as custom-press fruit. The product range includes apple and pear direct juices, orange and grape juices, multivitamin juice, fruit mix drinks, nectars, spritzers with 65 percent fruit content as well as specialties such as Öpfel-Suser, fruit wine and apple cider vinegar drink. An in-house laboratory equipped with modern analysis instruments monitors quality, and short-time heating has been ensuring the shelf life of the juices since 1956. For product quality and taste, the company has received more than 300 awards over the past 30 years, including the Federal Honorary Award for Fruit Beverages from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture on multiple occasions. Juice collection and administration are located at the Schloßstraße 33 site.
