About Heger
Heger GmbH + Co. KG is a family business founded in 1948 in Herrenberg, now run by the third generation. Originally the company manufactured agricultural equipment for feed mixing, which remains part of its product range to this day. Building on the existing base technology, Heger began producing size reduction machines for EPS (Styrofoam) in 1963. Today the company develops and manufactures recycling plants for foamed plastics such as EPS, EPP, EPE and PUR as well as for materials from ARCEL to XPS. The modular product portfolio includes primary crushers and fine mills for coarse and fine size reduction, screening and dedusting systems for plastic granulate, mixing and dosing systems, and dewatering and compacting systems. Customers come from the recycling and plastics industry; the plants are sold worldwide. The headquarters with production is located at Zaberstraße 26 in Herrenberg, Baden-Württemberg.
