About HeGo Biotec
HeGo Biotec GmbH is a company based in Berlin since 1990, specializing in the development and distribution of active agents for environmental protection. The portfolio includes iron hydroxide-based adsorption and reaction agents (FerroSorp®) for biogas desulfurization, gas purification and phosphate elimination, activated carbon adsorbents of the GoSorp® series, clinoptilolite zeolite (Klinopmin®), calcium nitrate and iron chloride solutions (GoMet®/GoSil®), polymeric flocculants as well as silicone-free antifoam agents. The FerroSorp® products have been produced exclusively by P.U.S. GmbH in Lauta near Hoyerswerda since 1998. In addition, the company develops and installs dosing systems and storage tanks (100–20,000 liters) with control and regulation technology and WHG-compliant safety equipment, offers H₂S measurement technology, exhaust air filters, maintenance and modernization as well as laboratory services (including ICP-OES, XRF, BET/BJH, mercury porosimetry) and research and development. Customers are industrial companies, municipalities and plant operators in fields such as biogas, sewer networks, municipal wastewater treatment and water body restoration.
