heibad GmbH is a medium-sized bathroom furniture manufacturer in Heideck in the Franconian Lake District, around 30 km south of Nuremberg. In its own production facilities covering around 10,000 m², the company produces washbasin units and washbasin base cabinets, washbasin panels, mirrors, mirror cabinets, accessory furniture and extras, as well as washbasin base cabinets matched to branded ceramics, complemented by the 4nature Style line. The value chain ranges from panel cutting on a cutting saw with optimization software, through PUR-bonded edge banding, doweling and CNC machining of drilled holes, recesses and grooves, to assembly on an assembly line installed in 2010, whose line personnel consist of trained cabinetmakers. Materials processed include melamine-resin-coated chipboard of quality grade E1, MDF panels with Superb or Fenix and HPL laminates, real wood veneer, lacquer in RAL colors and oiled solid wood; cut edges are sealed with 1-mm ABS edges. Products are sold via a three-stage distribution channel through specialist retailers and wholesalers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg, with custom-made products for individual bathroom design, in-house customer service and a 6-year guarantee.

Melamine (melamine-resin-coated chipboard, quality grade E1)
Entry-level price range with 16 decors (8 solid colors and 8 wood tones); cut edges are sealed with a 1-mm ABS edge using PU adhesive, suitable for damp rooms.
Superb (chipboard or MDF panel with surface coating)
Super-matte VELVET surfaces with anti-fingerprint or lacquer-like GLOSS high-gloss panels; more abrasion-resistant than melamine, lightfast and color-stable.
Fenix® (nanotechnologically hardened laminate pressed onto MDF)
Extremely matte, anti-fingerprint and heat-resistant surface that is thermally repairable and offers low light reflection.
HPL (laminate with phenolic resin core and UV lacquer)
Very robust, impact-resistant and scratch-resistant laminate with UV resistance, also available with thin metal layers for metallic decors.
Real wood veneer
Natural, authentic wood look with a warm surface, less sensitive to splashing water and elevated humidity than solid wood.
Lacquer (RAL colors)
Unlimited design possibilities within the RAL color range for exclusive bathroom design.
Solid wood (laminated-board, oiled solid wood strips)
Natural material with vivid plank character; oiled surfaces with a soft feel, large knot holes are sealed flush with black wax.
Branded ceramics
Washbasin base cabinets are manufactured to match washbasins from other manufacturers made of branded ceramics.
ABS edge 1 mm
Edge sealing applied with PU adhesive, particularly durable and suitable for damp rooms.
PUR bonding (edge banding machine)
Edges are welded on with liquid plastic instead of white glue, for maximum durability of the furniture.

Quality Assurance & Guarantee
Quality control takes place directly on the assembly line by trained cabinetmakers with a particular eye for the material wood; every employee is responsible for quality assurance, defects are detected early and reworked immediately. After final inspection, a control number with direct assignment to the employee as well as the order number are applied for later queries or reorders.
