About anderswohnen.net

Heike Krause & Andreas Heil operate the anderswohnen.net project, an artist studio and cultural project in Dortmund's Nordstadt. Since 1994, visual artists such as Ingrid Schmechel, Nicole Kötter, Ute Brüggemann, Andrea Fortmann, Christina Kreymborg, Sylvia Reusse, Verena Schuh and Matthias Zahlten have used studio spaces at Westerbleichstraße 53/55. The project realizes cultural events such as the Open Nordstadt Ateliers, in 2008 in cooperation with Depot e.V. and Künstlerhaus Dortmund e.V. No industrial manufacturing, no CNC machining, no sheet metal or casting production takes place; the classification as an industrial enterprise (WZ08 26200 according to Kompass) is questionable. The administrative seat of those responsible for content is Emmerich-Kalman-Str. 1 in Dortmund.
