HEIM & HAUS is a family business founded in 1971 and headquartered in Duisburg. We manufacture custom-made building elements for construction, renovation, and refurbishment. The product portfolio includes plastic windows (QuadroTherm Plus76/Plus82), design exterior doors (PLANOTHERM, QuadroTherm Safe), roller shutters, roof windows (RENOLUX), folding arm and conservatory awnings, exterior door canopies, terrace roofs, ZipScreen systems, garage doors, as well as insect protection. Production is carried out individually per order and precisely to specification in our own ISO 9001 certified plants in Auerbach in Oberpfalz, Osterfeld, and Voerde (Lower Rhine); the holding company is located in Duisburg. The materials used are plastic (PVC), aluminum, stainless steel, glass, and textile fabrics. Sales are conducted through direct sales without middlemen, supported by around 2,000 independent sales and installation partners; the company currently serves 1.4 million customers. The value chain includes consultation, custom production, installation, and customer service – all from a single source.

All production plants are certified according to ISO 9001 (TÜV SÜD) and are subject to a systematic quality management and continuous independent quality control. HEIM & HAUS holds the RAL Quality Seal and was awarded by the Institute for Window Technology Rosenheim.

Company History
- 1971
Founded by Rolf Schommers sen. in the Nuremberg metropolitan area; HEIM & HAUS Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH in Lauf an der Pegnitz; Direct sales of the Rollomatic SK roller shutter.
- 1974
Establishment of its own manufacturing in Auerbach i.d. Oberpfalz; founding of HEIM & HAUS Kunststofffenster Produktions GmbH Auerbach.
- 1976
Founding of HEIM & HAUS Produktionsgesellschaft mbH in Duisburg for expansion in the Ruhr area and Northern Germany.
