About the HEIM Group
The HEIM Group is an owner-managed family company founded in 1919 with headquarters in Ulm. Around 550 employees work at more than 30 locations in Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony and Thuringia. The group combines road and civil engineering, the extraction and processing of sand, gravel, grit and quartz sand in its own plants, asphalt production (rolled asphalt, mastic asphalt, porous asphalt) as well as building material, plastics and food-waste recycling. Through pure power GmbH & Co. KG, eleven biogas plants and numerous photovoltaic installations generate around 103 million kWh of electricity per year from renewable energies. Since 2023, the group has operated the first German neustark plant for permanent CO₂ storage in recycled mineral aggregates in Berlin-Marzahn. Clients include Liebherr, the City of Ulm, SWU, IVECO and EvoBus.
