Heinen GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of industrial spiral systems for food processing, based in Jade (formerly Varel), Lower Saxony. The company designs and manufactures spiral freezers, spiral coolers, spiral proofers, hot spiral systems, fluidized-bed freezers and multilevel crate freezers for processes such as freezing, cooling, proofing and pasteurizing in a temperature range of -35 to +95 °C. The systems are predominantly made of stainless steel, with stainless steel or plastic conveyor belts, and are handled entirely from a single source — from the initial design through engineering, construction, testing, delivery, installation and programming to maintenance. Heinen supplies customers in more than 60 countries and offers a 24/7 service with inspections, repair, spare parts, remote maintenance, retrofits and training.
