About Heinrich Arld GmbH
Heinrich Arld GmbH, founded in 1861, is a manufacturer of blanks and coins based in Nuremberg. The company produces coin-ready planchets and coin blanks made of non-ferrous metals as well as struck mono, bi- and tricolor coins, vending machine tokens, value tokens, deposit tokens and substitute means of payment. As a supplier, the company serves renowned mints; it also produces promotional and giveaway coins as well as washing tokens for laundries and machines. The blanks are punched from aluminium (AlMg3), various brass alloys, copper (SF-Cu), nickel silver, tin, steel and brass-plated sheet iron; the tool range extends up to Ø 50 mm for blanks and Ø 30 mm for struck coins. In its own special machine and tool making operation, Arld designs and manufactures coining dies, fixtures and complete machines – including systems for the production of pre-bonded bimetal blanks without pre-striking. In addition, the company offers custom-made products for automotive businesses and industry: reproduction of no-longer-available spare parts from drawings or samples, restoration of metal components and individual special tools.
