Heinrich Dreher GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenbau is a family-owned manufacturer of cutting mills and systems for the granulation of thermoplastics, based in Aachen. The company was founded more than 75 years ago by Heinrich Dreher and has since delivered more than 13,000 cutting mills and systems worldwide. The product portfolio comprises wet cutting mills, large cutting mills, trough mills, shredder-mill combinations, compact and small cutting mills, granulators and custom solutions, complemented by peripheral components such as conveyor belts, extraction, metal separation and sound insulation. The design principle of all machines is the developed "true double oblique cut" with a constant cutting gap across the entire cutting blade length, which reduces dust content and energy consumption. Rotors are turned and milled from solid steel. In addition to machine building, the company designs and implements individual regranulation systems and processing plants including assembly, commissioning and service. Customers are found in the injection moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, extrusion and film extrusion sectors as well as in recycling.

The true double oblique cut with a constant cutting gap produces very little dust and lowers energy consumption. Heavy, compactly built grinding chambers, oversized bearing flanges and optional full sound insulation up to 85 dB(A) ensure smooth running and continuous operation; trials are conducted in the company's own technical laboratory.
