About FIHALUX
Heinrich Filthaut GmbH & Co. KG has been manufacturing interior visual and sun protection under the FIHALUX brand in Menden in the Sauerland since 1955. The owner-managed family business, now in its third generation, produces exclusively custom-made products with around 25 employees, largely by hand. The product range includes pleated blinds and DUETTE®, roller blinds, light-metal and wooden venetian blinds, vertical blinds, festoon blind systems, panel blind systems and double roller blinds. Since 2005, custom-made insect screens such as tension frames, swing, hinged and sliding doors, roller blinds and light-shaft covers have complemented the portfolio. Materials are light metal (aluminium), wood and various fabric types; insect screen profiles are finished in a highly weather-resistant fine-texture surface with a deep-matte finish. In addition to manual operation, the company offers electric drives, smart-home integration and synchronous control of up to 100 light-metal venetian blinds for project equipment. Products are sold via specialist retailers in Germany.
