About Kopp

Heinrich Kopp GmbH, headquartered in Kahl am Main, has been developing, manufacturing and distributing electrical and electronic products since 1927. The range comprises more than 7,000 articles in the Professional and Do it yourself segments: switch programmes, sockets, dimmers, presence detectors, mobile personal protection switches (PRCD), home automation and building management systems, photovoltaic solutions as well as charging and storage technologies. Assembly of switches and sockets is concentrated in Kahl am Main; the main plant with logistics centre brings together manufacturing, development, product management, sales and quality assurance in one location. At the Tunisian production site in Messadine (Kopp Tunisia Electrotechnique S.A.R.L.), the focus is on manual assembly of complex solutions. Materials are plastics with excellent insulating properties as well as glass for frame materials; historically manufactured series were also available in fine woods (oak, beech, pine). Customers come from the specialist trade, retail, industry/OEM, construction, Smart Home and energy technology.
