About Heinz Ehgartner GmbH

Heinz Ehgartner GmbH is a precision manufacturer specializing in gears and custom gearbox solutions, headquartered in Leoben, Styria. Its portfolio includes the manufacture of hardened and ground gears, the production of complex turning and milling parts up to a unit weight of 10,000 kg, the repair and modernization of industrial gearboxes, and the design and manufacture of customer-specific gearboxes including assembly and laser welding. Processes such as hobbing, gear shaping, gear and bevel gear grinding according to the Klingelnberg method complement CNC turning and 5-axis milling; the entire production chain is covered in-house, with heat treatment and surface finishing provided via a qualified partner network. In addition to mechanical and plant engineering, printing machine, iron and steel as well as automotive engineering, medical technology serves as a second pillar: since 2015, the company has manufactured orthopedic plates and screws as medical devices. Certified to ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100:2018, Ehgartner supplies renowned companies and global market leaders throughout Europe.
