Heinz THUMM Ölhydraulische Antriebe GmbH is a German manufacturer of rotators and rotary unions for hydraulic grippers, based in Fellbach-Oeffingen near Stuttgart. Founded in 1963, the family-owned company produces top-mount and built-in rotators, compact and underwater rotators, Rotorex stop and drive heads, as well as accessories such as oil distributors for use in hydraulic excavators, loading cranes, truck loaders and forestry machinery. Production takes place in the company's own workshops, including on modern 5-axis machining centres, supported by highly precise CAD designs; prototypes, small series and OEM custom solutions are tailored to customer requirements. Every component undergoes strict quality control in the company's own temperature-calibrated measuring room before delivery. In addition to new production, THUMM offers repair, maintenance, spare parts manufacturing and exchange units as well as worldwide service with partners. THUMM's connection dimensions for hole patterns and spigots have become established internationally; the company holds numerous domestic and foreign patents and is run in its second generation by Claudia Pedersen and Vera Kadel.
