We are Heiping
Heiping oHG is an artisan coffee roastery with an attached retail shop in Darmstadt. The name is a coinage combining "Heiner" for the people of Darmstadt and "Lapping" for the people of Bessungen. In the shop premises on Karlstraße, coffees are roasted in-house according to quality standards, including Arabica and Robusta varieties as well as decaffeinated and espresso blends, some from controlled and certified cultivation. In addition, the product range includes regional specialties from within a radius of about 70 km around Darmstadt, including chocolate, sausages and cold cuts, jams, preserved goods and wine. Distribution takes place through the retail shop as well as through an online shop with shipping. The company was founded in 2010 by Dr. Ursula Ripper and taken over in 2019 by Andreas Schulte; Christiane Finger joined as second owner. Together with the two owners, around eight employees work in the business.
