Chemical blowing agents (masterbatch)
Gravimetric dosing via the hopper of the plasticizing unit; the gases released upon thermal decomposition are homogeneously mixed with the melt.
MuCell (direct gas injection into the melt)
Physical TSG process from Trexel Inc., in which gas is injected directly into the melt via an injector, allowing high process consistency.
