About us
Since 1972, HEKO Industrieerzeugnisse GmbH has been distributing steel wire ropes on national and international markets. The product range includes standard ropes to DIN EN 12385-4, DIN 3052, DIN 3055 and DIN 3057 as galvanized or bright steel wire rope, in stainless steel versions as well as plastic-coated. Over 3,500 m² of hall space at the Hemer site holds a permanent stock of more than 3,000 tonnes, so orders can often be loaded on the day of ordering. In addition to trading, HEKO offers a testing and inspection service for wire ropes, slings, lifting gear, fibre ropes, chains and other components, including cyclic load testing to customer specifications in cooperation with recognised bodies such as Germanischer Lloyd or Lloyd's Register of Shipping. Rope sections are also cut to length and welded on both sides. Customer industries include mining, seafaring, crane construction and decoration.
