Bakery Helbing is a large-scale bakery headquartered in Leinefelde-Worbis, Thuringia, and ranks among the larger bakery chain operators in Germany. The family business, founded in 1912 by Albert Helbing, is now run by the fourth generation and has been based in Leinefelde since its founding. The production facility is located in the Leinefelde Nord industrial estate, from which more than 100 branches in the tri-border region of North Thuringia, Southern Lower Saxony and Northern Hesse are supplied. The product range includes bread, rolls, snacks, coffee, cakes and pastries as well as ice drinks and ice cream. Through the Helbing Vorteilswelt and the digital bonus card, the company operates a trust and discount program for its customers.
