About Held Systems
Held Systems GmbH is a manufacturer of laser systems that has been active worldwide for over 40 years, headquartered in Dietzenbach near Frankfurt am Main. The company develops and manufactures customer-oriented custom machines for highly precise laser cutting and laser welding of a wide variety of materials, including metal, technical textiles such as airbag fabric, plastics, fiber-reinforced composites (GRP, CFRP) as well as cardboard and paper. The range of services includes consulting, planning, design, programming, implementation, commissioning, on-site maintenance and quality assurance. Core products are the Contilas laser cutting system based on laser remote cutting technology, multilayer cutting systems with a rotating cutting grid, the PEDILAS system series for 2.5D cuts, as well as laser hybrid welding systems and stiffener setters for shipbuilding with working widths of up to 30 m. More than 300 laser systems are in operation worldwide with international customers. Intensive collaboration with research institutes and a high degree of innovation form the basis of the company's development work.
