About Heliatek
Heliatek GmbH develops, produces and sells organic solar films under the HeliaSol brand. The ultra-light, flexible films are applied self-adhesively as "stickers" to roofs, facades, curved and flexible surfaces – without any drilling. Production takes place as roll-to-roll manufacturing of organic photovoltaic materials; on approximately 5,000 m² of production space at the headquarters in Dresden, up to 2 million m² of HeliaSol can be produced per year. Heliatek avoids rare earths and critical raw materials and advertises a carbon payback time of under 100 days as well as a certified 20-year performance guarantee. More than 75 installations have been realized worldwide together with partners. The material development of organic photovoltaic materials is located in Ulm. According to the company, HeliaSol is the only commercially available and IEC-certified organic solar solution worldwide.
