About HELIX

HELIX GmbH, based in Winnenden, specializes in the manufacture of dosing and conveying screws, producing them from solid material, i.e. without weld seams, in lengths of up to 3,000 mm. The range of services also includes grooved bushings and grooved feed zones, which are used in plasticizing units of extruders and injection molding machines, as well as the design and manufacture of extrusion units with a grooved plasticizing zone. The materials include nitriding steel and bimetal. The proprietary HELIX®plus technology improves the groove design of the plasticizing zone and targets applications such as recycling material processing and high-speed machines. Customer segments include mechanical engineering, plastics processing, as well as extrusion and injection molding technology. Communication is in German.
