Since 1991, Helix Gesellschaft für Software und Engineering mbH has been developing and implementing automation solutions for production plants, in particular process control systems (DCS/SCADA). As a vendor-independent full-service partner, the company supports projects from commissioning and planning through implementation to start-up and ongoing plant operation. The service portfolio also includes consulting, companion systems, special solutions for extending existing systems, migration of legacy installations, as well as validation and qualification in accordance with GAMP/FDA and the application of the GMP rulebook. Focus areas are pharmaceuticals and food chemistry as well as chemicals and airport technology, for example the modernization of the SCADA system of the baggage conveyor system at Frankfurt Airport. With around 18 employees, the company operates at two sites: in Frankfurt am Main in the Industriepark Höchst and in Oberhausen next to the Ruhrchemie plant.
