About HELJO Industries

HELJO Industries is an inspection company specialized in drone technology, based in Michendorf near Berlin. The company carries out industrial maintenance inspections, focusing on wind turbines (towers and rotor blades), photovoltaic systems and the digitalization of existing buildings and sites. The services include standard-image inspections, thermography with high-resolution thermal imaging cameras for hotspot detection on PV modules, and photogrammetry, in which 3D models are created from drone photos – for example for construction planning, agriculture and surveying. Further applications include high-voltage lines, building inspections, vegetation maps (NDVI) and terrain maps (DHM, DGM, DTM, DOM). HELJO offers a complete package from weather analysis and flight route planning through data acquisition to evaluation for inspection reports. Up to five teams (pilot and camera operator) can be deployed simultaneously; operations are insured throughout Europe.

Safety and Quality

The drones are equipped with a failsafe function for automatic return flight in case of signal loss; pilots fly only with proof of knowledge in accordance with §21a para. 4 LuftVO. Liability is covered by a liability insurance valid throughout Europe (R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG), and flight permits from the aviation authorities are in place.
