Hellmich Werkzeugbau GmbH in Rheinbreitbach develops and manufactures sheet metal forming tools, progressive dies, special fixtures and prototype tools for the automotive, household appliance and fitting hardware industries. The family-owned company, founded in 1991, combines design, toolmaking and contract manufacturing at one site: its own design department produces full designs in CAD 2D and 3D, complemented by method planning, feasibility studies and strip layout optimization for efficient material use. Contract manufacturing services include 3- and 5-axis CNC milling, CNC turning, wire EDM, surface grinding and laser engraving. On more than 1,000 square meters of production space, the company works with around 20 employees on a modern machine park from Hedelius, Hermle, Spinner, Fanuc and other manufacturers. Upon request, design data is provided in all common interface and file formats.

Father Hellmich founds a design office in Bad Honnef; Tom Hellmich simultaneously founds a toolmaking company; Axel Hellmich runs the design office.
- 2008
Merger of toolmaking and design into Hellmich Werkzeugbau GmbH with a total of 9 employees.

Expansion of business areas in contract manufacturing with approx. 10 employees.
