Helmut Reiter GmbH is a specialist in the sales, rental and service of forklifts, warehouse technology vehicles and work platforms, headquartered in Essen. Founded in 1960 by Helmut Reiter as a small business, the company has developed into one of the leading operations for the sales and rental of industrial trucks in North Rhine-Westphalia. As a contract dealer of the brands Yale, Manitou and Bulmor, the company distributes electric forklifts, rough-terrain and telescopic forklifts, side-loading and multi-directional forklifts, work platforms, warehouse technology as well as special and electric vehicles. The rental fleet comprises more than 2,000 vehicles of all load capacity classes and drive concepts, of which over 700 units are in long-term rental – from industrial forklifts with 1.5 to 25 t load capacity to telescopic handlers with 12 t load capacity and 25 m lift height, as well as work platforms with working heights of 5 to 28 m. Around 150 employees generate annual revenue of approximately 35 million euros. The range of services is complemented by maintenance, repair, FEM 4.004 safety inspections, driver training, spare parts supply, financing and fleet management.
