The company Helmut Schick Inh. Stefan Schick e.K. is a master craft business for stone processing and holistic building system solutions, founded in Ulm in 1920. The company manufactures and installs components made of artificial stone, natural stone, marble and terrazzo – from floor and stair systems to façade elements, window sills and special components made to architects' plans. In-house production capacity enables millimeter-precise custom manufacturing; in addition, contract and cutting work for natural stone, artificial stone and tiles is offered. A specialist department for structural fire protection installs approved cable, pipe and combined fire barriers according to AbZ/ETA including complete documentation. The construction services include façade cleaning, graffiti removal, hydrophobization and building maintenance. Customers come from the construction industry, public buildings such as clinics and authorities, the hotel industry and heritage conservation; references include, among others, the University Hospital Ulm, the City of Ulm and the Federal Fortress Ulm. The company has been run by Stefan Schick, third generation, since 2013 and is based in Ulm.
