Helmutssons' Manufaktur is a small sole proprietorship based in Springe am Deister, about 30 kilometres south of Hanover. The owner is Holger Körner; since 2017 the company has operated under its current name in memory of the owner's late father. According to its own statements, the offering covers everything needed for "medieval life", from axes and knives to helmets and mail shirts, through to tents, sheepskins, wild animal hides, game meat and wax sheets for modelling. Items that are not in stock are sourced on request. The products come, among others, from manufacturers such as Windlass and are sold via the company's own online shop as well as through attended markets. Key customers are individuals and groups from the medieval reenactment and living history scene.
