HEMO is a family-owned company in industrial cleaning technology that has been offering component cleaning to defined residual dirt specifications for almost 50 years. Its portfolio of services includes ultrasonic fine cleaning in a solvent bath, hydrocarbon cleaning, among other things prior to heat treatment processes, degreasing with perchloroethylene by flood washing and vapor degreasing, solvent-based metal cleaning, and hybrid cleaning with solvents and aqueous media in combination with CNP (cyclic nucleation), for example prior to PVD coating. Automatic preservation and highly automated systems with the integration of third-party products round out the offering. Metals of any material, plastics and hybrid components are cleaned; special applications such as long tubes, screws, chips or animal bones for natural history museums are also part of the spectrum of tasks. Customers are found primarily in medical technology, heat treatment, forming technology and PVD coating.

Ultrasonic fine cleaning
Gently removes particulate contamination in a solvent bath by means of imploding cavitation bubbles, especially in medical technology.
Hydrocarbon cleaning
Prepares components prior to heat treatment, as residues can impair hardening processes and damage furnaces.
Degreasing with perchloroethylene
Flood washing and vapor degreasing for large components such as tubes in top-loader or front-loader systems.
Solvent cleaning
Highly automated systems for maximum throughput, optionally with a final automatic preservation step.
Hybrid cleaning (solvent/aqueous)
Combination of solvents and aqueous media in the same cleaning chamber with cyclic nucleation (CNP) for maximum component cleanliness prior to PVD coating.
Vapor degreasing
For large batches such as wire mesh containers in forming technology, operated with hydrocarbons.
