About Hengstler
Hengstler GmbH is a European manufacturer of industrial components for counting and control applications, headquartered in Aldingen (Baden-Württemberg). The portfolio includes incremental and absolute rotary encoders, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and pneumatic counters, thermal printers and cutters, force-guided relays for safety circuits, industrial and temperature controllers, as well as linear and angle measuring systems. Products are manufactured to customer orders in production cells; plastic parts have been injection molded in-house since 1956, while brass and aluminum components are partly sourced or manufactured internally according to the Kanban principle. Hengstler also offers customized turnkey projects from planning through development to the finished product and supports customers in industrial automation, motion control, robotics, medical technology, as well as printing and labeling systems. Founded in 1846, the company has belonged to Ralliant Corporation since 2025 (previously Fortive, before that Danaher) and also manufactures at its site in Kezmarok, Slovakia.
