HEPU Pumpen und Maschinen GmbH was founded in 1988 in Herten and is a manufacturer of pump technology for the wet mechanical conveying of solids. The product range includes solids pumps in various designs (horizontal pumps HEPU/HEPU-S, suction dredger pumps HEPU-SBP, vertical sump pumps HEPU-V/HEPU-VS, submersible motor pumps HEPU-VT/HEPU-VTS and container pumps HEPU-B/HEPU-BS) as well as in-house developed hydrocyclones for fine sand recovery, knife gate valves and compensators. The range is complemented by traded products such as Liquivac liquid ring pumps and standard water pumps. The company covers the value chain from technical consulting, concepts and planning through to the manufacture of individual machines and complete systems, including sales and service as well as in-house control cabinets for speed control. In terms of materials, steel, CrNiMo stainless steel and polyurethane are used as wear materials. Customers include, among others, the gravel and sand industry, the potash industry, mining, environmental protection, aerated concrete as well as clinker and cement industries. Larger complete systems are implemented with partner companies.
