HERA Papierverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of bags and sacks made from a wide variety of paper types and sizes. The product range includes flat bags, gusseted bags, X-ray envelopes, sample bags, carrier bags, cellophane bags, transparent sleeves and photographic paper products. A focus is placed on custom-made products in individual sizes and paper types, usually from a minimum quantity of 5,000 pieces, with individual printing on request, sometimes also in smaller quantities. Another area is blanks and rolls for food packaging, e.g. made from pergamin, parchment substitute paper or baking release paper. In addition, die-cutting work, offset and letterpress printing, stitching, gluing, assembly, order picking and contract work are offered. Customers come from industries such as healthcare, bakeries, banks, jewellers, opticians, garden centres and packaging wholesale. Since summer 2022, the company has been producing at the expanded Schotten-Rainrod site; the KG's registered office is located in Nidda.
