Herbert Geißler GmbH & Co. KG is a processing company specializing in transparent plastics, based in Freudenberg (Siegerland). Founded in 1948, the company machines PLEXIGLAS® (PMMA), MAKROLON®, LEXAN® and polycarbonate, PET-G and other plastics into technical components such as machine guard hoods, machine protective covers, machine enclosures, protective doors, viewing panes, containers and displays. The manufacturing portfolio includes CNC milling on six CNC machining centres (up to 3050 x 2050 mm), millimetre-accurate cutting on a computer-controlled panel saw, cold and hot bending up to 3000 mm in length, bonding technology, turning, drilling, edge polishing, thermoforming into mouldings up to approx. 2600 x 1500 mm, as well as surface technology such as printing, painting and engraving. Production ranges from one-off pieces and prototypes to large series. Customers include industries such as mechanical engineering, metalworking, plant and apparatus engineering, the lighting industry, medical technology, laboratory technology, shopfitting, exhibition stand construction and furniture manufacturing, both in Germany and abroad. On around 2000 m² of production and warehouse space (since 2008), the company maintains permanent material stocks and delivers just in time. The company serves only industrial and commercial customers as well as corporations under public law.
