Waldmann – Engineers of Light

Herbert Waldmann GmbH & Co. KG develops and produces luminaires and lighting systems for industrial workplaces, machinery and systems, office spaces and healthcare. The product portfolio includes magnifying luminaires, panel, linear and tubular luminaires, light line systems, floor-standing luminaires, pendant luminaires, medical luminaires, smart sensors and lighting management software. All new developments are based on LED technology and achieve at least 100 lm/W; the luminaires are made, among other things, from aluminium, plastic (including PMMA) and recycled MDF. Founded in 1928 in Villingen-Schwenningen, the family-owned company is now in its fourth generation and operates its own sales and production sites in nine countries, including production facilities in Germany, the USA, China and Switzerland (Derungs Licht AG). The offering includes lighting design, repair and spare parts service, installation planning and disposal. With the start-up LIZ Smart Office GmbH, Waldmann complements its luminaire hardware with intelligent software.
