HERION & RAU Fluidtechnik GmbH develops and manufactures electromechanical pressure switches, vacuum switches and electronic pressure sensors at its Nufringen site, which are sold under the bar-control brand. The portfolio covers switching points from 0.1 to 600 bar and is individually designed for each application — according to medium, pressure range, connection and ambient conditions. The products are designed for applications in which switching points must remain within the tolerance window even after thousands of cycles. The focus is on customer-specific configuration from a modular system or the new development of suitable variants. Recipients include medical technology, mechanical and plant engineering, and energy infrastructure equipped with power transformers, substations and fire suppression systems, as well as rail and commercial vehicles. Every variant undergoes a leak test. Customers are accompanied by a dedicated contact person from the first technical sketch through to the series solution. Internationally, the company supplies customers in South Korea, China, the United Kingdom and Australia.
