About Herkenhoff
Herkenhoff GmbH is an owner-managed family business from Osnabrück that has been active in window, entrance door and roller shutter construction since 1953. Products include custom-made windows in plastic and aluminium, high-quality entrance doors made of steel-reinforced plastic, glass and aluminium, roller shutters, awnings and insect screens. Production takes place in the company's own production facilities at the Osnabrück-Sutthausen site, including a publicly viewable entrance door manufactory where all models are individually assembled and equipped with the desired technical features. Aluminium surfaces are refined by powder coating and anodising. The range of services includes consulting and planning, installation service, burglary protection and security technology, maintenance and repair — also for third-party products — as well as delivery via the company's own factory delivery fleet. Customers come from residential and house construction, office and public buildings, and school and hotel construction. The site features a showroom of over 600 m² and a factory outlet.

Master carpenter Heinrich Herkenhoff founds a wood-processing business in Sudenfeld near Hagen a.T.W.; specialisation in wooden roller shutters.
- 1963
Relocation to a new company building in Osnabrück-Sutthausen; in the mid-70s approximately 30 employees.
- 1975
Commissioning of plastic window production; windows become the main product, entrance doors are added to the range.

Transition to the second generation; sales expanded regionally and beyond.

Occupancy of a new exhibition and administration building; products appear under their own brand name.
