HerkulesGroup is a family-owned group in heavy machinery engineering headquartered in Siegen (Kaan-Marienborn, North Rhine-Westphalia) with around 1,447 employees worldwide. The group develops and manufactures CNC roll grinding and roll turning machines for rolling mill technology as well as heavy-duty machine tools for turning, milling, grinding, drilling and texturing (WaldrichSiegen, Maschinenfabrik Herkules). Around 725 employees work at the Siegen headquarters. The portfolio is complemented by custom drive and gearbox systems from RSGetriebe in Sonthofen, modernization of machine tools and industrial plants by SBA mechatronics in Weikersdorf (Austria), as well as service and measurement technology offerings. Manufacturing is highly vertically integrated: key core components are produced within the group, including at the production sites in Siegen and Meuselwitz (Union boring mills). Own service branches in the USA, India and China serve the main markets; the machining services are aimed at rolling mills, foundries and the machine tool, chemical and test bench industries.
