Hermann Bettels GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized corporate group operating throughout Germany, solely owned by the managing partner. The holding company in Hildesheim coordinates the business units environment & raw materials, concrete, civil engineering, logistics and energy generation. In the environment & raw materials division, the group treats organic and mineral waste through material washing, microbiological processing, sorting, separation and interim storage, recycles used batteries, treats wastewater and thermally recovers waste wood; several landfills of classes DK 0 and DK 1 are available. In the concrete sector, two companies operate nine ready-mixed concrete plants in the southern Lower Saxony region, supported by an own fleet of truck mixers and truck-mounted concrete pumps. Further services include the production of primary and secondary aggregates, civil and road construction, sewer rehabilitation, landfill construction, the manufacture of steel components for wind towers, bridges and plant engineering as well as infrastructure planning. Customers include renowned construction groups in Germany as well as relevant wind turbine manufacturers in Europe.
