About Hermann Holz

Hermann Holz GmbH is a wood manufactory in Ennetbürgen, Switzerland. Since June 2024, the company has produced solid-wood and live-edge tables from Swiss wood — as one-off pieces and project series. Oak, ash and walnut are processed, with their natural characteristics such as knots, grain and cracks deliberately preserved. In addition to custom table making, the offering includes charring using the Japanese Yakisugi technique, epoxy resin fills for cracks and live edges, CNC milling with personalization such as logos and engravings, as well as steel frames and natural-stone bases. Customers include private households, interior architecture, hospitality and corporate projects; in the B2B sector, 3'700 cutting boards were produced from 22 m³ of Swiss ash for Pilatus Aircraft. Founder Marcel Hermann is a trained forester and manufactures all pieces in his own workshop — 100 % Swiss Made.
