Hermann Linden Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer based in Marienheide specializing in machines for chemical process engineering unit operations. For over 75 years, now in its third generation, the company has produced double-blade mixing and kneading machines (double-Z kneaders), dry mixers, planetary mixers and dissolvers – from laboratory and pilot-scale machines up to production machines with usable volumes of up to 500 liters (K IV B 5000) and up to 10,000 liters for ribbon blenders. The machines are supplied in full stainless steel construction as well as in various special materials and are adapted in-house to customers' operating conditions. The portfolio includes versions with heating and cooling systems, high vacuum, ATEX, bottom discharge, tilting drive or discharge screw. Customers include, among others, chemical process engineering, the food industry (chewing gum and protein bar production), silicone manufacturing, the hard metal and ceramics industries, medical adhesives, and the dental and abrasives industries. The machines are adapted in-house to customers' operating conditions. For the safety of employees, service flaps only open once the mixing tools and chopper shafts have come to a complete standstill; cleaning components are available electro-pneumatically on request.
