Petra Looft Mode is a family-run fashion house in Wilster (Schleswig-Holstein) founded in 1919 and today run by the fourth generation. The company operates a brick-and-mortar store at Deichstraße 4 as well as an online shop (Looft 24/7) and sells premium womenswear from renowned labels such as Closed, Cambio, Riani, SoSue, 0039 Italy, Aigner, Mouleta and Friendly Hunting. The range includes timeless everyday classics, basics, cashmere, seasonal collections as well as leather accessories and cashmere scarves. The service portfolio includes personal fashion advice, on-site alteration service, non-binding selection packages, private shopping parties, advice via FaceTime, WhatsApp or e-mail, telephone orders, click & collect as well as gift vouchers and gift wrapping. Shipping takes place within Germany, free of charge for orders with a minimum order value of 250 euros. The owner is Ingo Looft; Petra Looft and Antonia Looft run the business.

History

1. 1919

   Founded by Hermann Looft together with his wife Käthe Looft; selling fabrics by bicycle across the countryside.

2. 1932

3. 1953

   Son Heino Looft continued the business after his father's death together with his mother Käthe and his wife Anneliese.

4. 1992

   Petra Looft took over her parents-in-law's business on 1 January 1992.

5. 2019

   100th anniversary of the company, by then run by the 3rd generation.

6. 2020

   Antonia Looft joined the company and runs it together with Petra Looft.

7. 2021

   Launch of the online shop (Looft 24/7).
