About us

Hermann Scherf Metallverarbeitung has been active in contract machining since 1989, manufacturing custom turned and milled parts according to drawings or CAD data. The service portfolio includes CNC turning from Ø 20 to 880 mm at lengths up to a maximum of 2000 mm as well as CNC milling of complex components made of aluminium, copper, brass, steel and stainless steel. The programs are created with modern CAD-CAM software; prototypes and samples are also produced. In contract sawing, the company handles cutting ranges from 10 to 360 mm (Ø and square) at lengths up to 6000 mm, among other things with bundle sawing. Quantities range from single parts up to 100,000 pieces per year. For quality assurance, the company has a climate-controlled measuring room with two Zeiss 3D measuring machines, where production-accompanying measurements and final inspections with inspection reports are carried out.
