About Heron Innovations Factory
Heron Innovations Factory GmbH, headquartered in Dornbirn, is the central hub of the owner-managed Heron Group, a globally active family business in the Austrian tri-border region on Lake Constance. Its origin is Heron Sondermaschinenbau GmbH, founded in 1987, which developed and built turnkey systems and custom-designed assembly machines. From this, five independently operating subsidiaries emerged with core competencies in CNC manufacturing, in connection, conveyor and profile technology based on a seamless automation modular system, as well as in the development and complete implementation of intralogistics systems with intelligent transport robots. Heron Innovations Factory acts as a service provider and innovation driver for the subsidiaries: R&D, controlling, personnel and product development as well as services for the entire group are bundled here. A focus is on apprenticeship training in electrical engineering, mechanical and machining engineering, and design. Its customers include hidden champions as well as global players from industries such as special machinery, automation and intralogistics.
